LEAD TIMES

All our fixtures are authentic hand forged wrought iron.  They are handcrafted and made to order to your specifications.  When you place your order we will provide you with an estimated lead time.  This lead time is determined by several factors, including but not limited to, manufacturing, quantities, finishing (ex. powder coating, galvanization, painting), product availability and our current order queue.  We strive to produce exceptional attention to detail and want to make sure you get a high quality product.   Lead times are not guaranteed unless specified in writing on your order.  We encourage you to contact us at anytime during your lead time to check in on your order for an updated status.   If you have a rush order, please contact us directly.

We do carry items in stock, meaning that they are raw metal and the metal work is done.  But it needs to be powder coated, finished, and carefully packaged for shipment.

If you have questions regarding lead time for specific items, please contact us and we'll be happy to give you our current lead times.  Example of general lead times can vary from 10 business days, up to 8+ weeks depending on the projects.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Because we manufacture our products, we are able to offer customization and modifications to most our lighting fixtures. In addition, if you have drawings or a picture of an existing design, our design team will help bring your idea to life. We are happy to work with you and offer our expertise during the design process.  Customers are responsible for providing images, CAD, or drawings for specific custom designs, including the detailed dimensions.  Minimum requirements for custom orders apply.

Since each custom order is created to your specification, manufacturing times may be different than our current products online. We will provide you with a quote specific to your custom order.  Custom orders are final sale.

RETURNS

Our fixtures are made to order, specifically for you. Therefore, we are unable to accept returns. Any other pre-arranged returns are only accepted case-by-case and must have prior return authorization at time of purchase. Pre-authorized items returned must be unused and in new condition, and show no signs of wear, installation, or damage. The customer is responsible to ensure all items are packed securely to avoid any damage during shipment. A restocking fee will be deducted from the subtotal of the return for store credit, less shipping charges.

We are certain you will be satisfied with the quality of our products. We will work with you from the beginning to make sure you are certain about your order. Once you place your order, if you are unsure of the color/glass options, we can send you a color or glass sample upon request.

For large quantity orders of the same fixture, we are happy to send you sample products, if available, for a deposit plus shipping.

SHIPPING & PACKAGING

Each of our fixtures is individually handcrafted and requires the same level of care and attention when preparing it for shipment. Our shipping charges reflect not only the transportation cost, but also the professional packaging, materials, and labor required to ensure your fixture arrives safely and in perfect condition.

We do not use generic, one-size-fits-all boxes. Every order is carefully evaluated and packaged using high-quality protective materials specifically selected for iron fixtures and fragile components such as glass and mica. This often includes custom-sized boxes, reinforced packaging structures, protective wrapping, and when necessary, custom palletization. Larger or heavier fixtures are securely fastened to pallets to prevent movement or damage during transit. Each order is hand-packed by our team, a detailed and labor-intensive process that ensures your fixture is properly protected throughout transport.

Shipping and packaging costs are calculated at the time of order based on several factors, including:

  • Fixture size, weight, and fragility
  • Custom packaging materials and box construction required
  • Labor involved in preparing and securing the shipment
  • Shipping method (ground, freight, air, or international transport)
  • Delivery destination and distance from our facility in San Diego, California

Because all orders ship from San Diego, shipping costs vary depending on the delivery location. Shipments traveling longer distances, particularly to the East Coast, remote regions, or international destinations, incur higher carrier transportation costs.

Oversized fixtures or large quantity orders are professionally palletized and shipped via freight carriers to ensure safe handling. Smaller shipments are sent via trusted carriers such as FedEx or UPS.

We also ship internationally and are happy to assist with arranging transport via air, ground, or sea freight. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or import charges required by their country.

Shipping costs are based on carrier rates, packaging requirements, and labor at the time of shipment and are subject to change if carrier rates or shipment conditions change. Any additional fees incurred after shipment, including but not limited to storage fees, missed delivery appointments, redelivery attempts, address corrections, re-routing, refusal of delivery, or delays caused by the recipient, are the responsibility of the customer and may be billed separately.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these shipping and packaging terms, including responsibility for any additional carrier fees incurred due to delivery conditions outside of our control.

SHIPPING DAMAGES POLICY

We take great care in packaging every fixture to prevent damage during transit. However, once a shipment leaves our facility, it is handled by third-party carriers and shipping conditions are outside of our direct control.

If your order arrives with any damage, please notify us immediately upon receipt and provide clear photos of the packaging and the damaged areas of the fixture. Prompt notification allows us to properly evaluate the situation and determine the best course of action.

Our goal is to resolve any issues quickly and ensure your fixture can be properly completed and enjoyed as intended. In most cases, we will provide replacement parts, components, or materials necessary to correct the issue.  Most of our fixtures have components that can be replaced if needed.

Please note that we do not cover third-party repair services, labor, or refinishing costs. We will provide replacement parts, components, or other appropriate solutions at our sole discretion, as determined in good faith, to resolve the issue.

We are committed to supporting our customers and will work with you to provide the most effective and reasonable solution.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY STANDARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS

CA TITLE 24

STATE OF CALIFORNIA – THE RESOURCES AGENCY For CA Residents, we are very familiar with CA Electrical Codes and requirements for commercial and residential projects. If your project requires Title 24 or Title 20, please contact us. We are able to make our fixtures comply with Title 24 and JA8.

UL / CSA Listing

CSA

Our fixtures are certified under CSA-CA by CSA Group, which is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) approved by OSHA. This certification confirms that our fixtures have been independently tested and comply with applicable U.S. electrical safety standards, including the California Electrical Code and all other state requirements.

OSHA, the federal agency responsible for workplace safety and electrical compliance, requires that electrical products be certified by an approved Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). CSA Group is one of these approved laboratories, alongside other recognized organizations such as UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and ETL (Intertek).

Electrical code does not require UL certification specifically. It requires certification by any OSHA-recognized NRTL. CSA Group holds the same OSHA recognition status as UL and ETL and is fully authorized to test and certify electrical products for use throughout the United States.

CSA certification is widely accepted across North America and internationally, which allows our fixtures to meet both U.S. and global electrical safety requirements.

You may view OSHA’s official list of approved Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories, which includes CSA Group and UL, at the following link: https://www.osha.gov/nationally-recognized-testing-laboratory-program/current-list-of-nrtls

If you have any questions regarding certification, compliance, or project requirements, we are happy to provide additional information.
