Mica is a thin, natural sheet stone—not glass—cut from mineral layers and used as a decorative light diffuser. Because it is a natural material, each piece will have slight variations in color, texture, and pattern, giving every fixture a unique, organic look.
When illuminated*, mica produces a warm, soft glow rather than a bright or clear light output. It is designed for ambiance and visual warmth, not for maximum brightness or visibility.
Due to its natural composition and softer light transmission, mica is best suited for interior applications or covered outdoor areas where a decorative glow is desired.
